16th July, 2019: North American Steel Scrap Prices Posted Decline on Index

The North American copper scrap prices recorded marginal surge on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on July 16th, Thursday. Aluminum and Stainless Steel scrap prices saw no change on Index. Brass and Bronze scrap too reported no variation in prices over the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices dropped marginally on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The price of Alternator scrap remained flat over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing edged higher by $0.01 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.01 per Lb when compared with the prior day. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright inched higher by $0.01 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery remained flat over the day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were unchanged. #3 Copper-Light copper prices witnessed no change from previous day’s level.
