The price of the 400 series in China has been stable and slightly increased. Regarding raw materials, the supply of chromium ore is tight, and the price is rising. Those push up the mills' production cost of 400 series stainless steel, and the sales price is close to its cost benchmarking.

Therefore, the mills in the Foshan and Wuxi areas have raised offers many times in order to reduce losses. At present, the social inventory of the 400 series is reduced. In addition, due to tight slab supply and high prices, mainstream steel mills' delivery is slow, and the spot price has been driven up.
