Acerinox posts net profit of EUR 49.049 million in 2020

According to a report released by Acerinox, a stainless steel manufacturing group based in Spain, in 2020, the firm’s smelting output, including stainless steel and high-performance alloy, slightly dropped by 2% to around 2.2 million tons; the sales decreased by 2% to around EUR 4.67 billion.

The EBITDA increased by 5% to EUR 384 million, the net profit attributable to the group hiked from minus EUR 59.545 million to around EUR 49.05 million, and the net financial debt increased to EUR 278 million due to the acquisition of VDM Metals in March.
