The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) has expanded its leadership team, naming four industry veterans to its Board of Directors. The new appointees include Clive Grannum (North American Stainless), Rick Marabito (Olympic Steel), Guillermo (Willy) Moreno (Tenaris USA), and Barry Zekelman (Zekelman Industries).

AISI Chairman Lourenco Goncalves praised the additions, calling them "strong advocates" for US steelmakers in the fight against unfair trade practices. President and CEO Kevin Dempsey echoed the sentiment, emphasizing their leadership comes at a pivotal moment for the industry.

The appointments were finalized during AISI’s 2025 General Meeting in Washington, D.C., where board members discussed pressing challenges facing domestic steel producers. The shakeup follows recent departures and the addition of new member companies to the trade group.
