Alba launches new aluminum alloy 6060.HE in product portfolio

Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) is the first aluminum smelter in the Middle East and the world's largest aluminum smelter except China, with a production of more than 1.6 million tons per annum.
Recently, Alba launched a new aluminum alloy product, 6060.HE, to its AA6060 series, which is mainly used for aluminum extrusions.
The new aluminum alloy was developed in collaboration with the University of Bahrain and Bahrain Aluminum Extrusion Company (BALEXCO). This collaboration focuses on improving the aluminum extrusion process, contributing to improving the quality and performance of manufactured extruded products.
