Alcoa has lowered its annual shipment forecast at the aluminum division from 3-3.1 million tons to 2.9-3 million tons for 2020 due to the impact on the second half of 2020 caused by the reduction in its Intalco Works smelter, and the shipment of bauxite and alumina was temporarily kept unchanged in 2020.

Alcoa expected its annual bauxite shipment to be 48-49 million tons, and total alumina shipment will be 13.6-13.7 million tons.

Besides, Alcoa foresaw that its bauxite business performance will drop in the second quarter of this year since it didn’t sign the annual sales contracts again.
