Alro to launch 3 new investment projects for aluminum industry growth

Alro, one of the main aluminum companies in Romania, will launch three new investment projects, with a total worth of EUR 15 million, with an aim to decarbonize technological processes and increase competitiveness, in line with the requirements of environmental protection.

The investments will include the installation of a photovoltaic station with a capacity of 1500 KW and two charging stations to promote green aluminum production, extending the fume treatment plant in the cast house to the billet and slab casting machine to meet new emissions targets in the primary aluminum industry, as well as starting the contracting procedures to increase the processing capacity and further raising the company’s competitiveness in the profile market.
