Aluminium ingot inventories build up 28,000 tonnes on Jan. 4 on reduced consumption for early Chinese New Year break

According to the Shanghai Metals Market survey, aluminium ingot inventories in China have marked the beginning of the year 2024 with a notable hike. As per the data, social inventories of ingot across Chinese eight major consumption areas built up 28,000 tonnes week-on-week, reaching 462,000 tonnes as of January 4.
