According to a notice from superiors on December 7, aluminum processing enterprises in Jiaozuo, China, completely halted their production.

The suspension was expected to last until the end of this month. The actual resumption will depend on the weather condition.

The production suspension was due to the heavy pollution in Jiaozuo, which might reduce Jiaozuo Wanfang’s aluminum rod output by 9,000 tons.
