The firm’s aluminum production totaled around 936,000 tons in the second quarter of this year, increasing by 0.4% compared to the previous quarter. Among them, the output from its smelter in Siberia accounted for 93% of the total.

During the reporting period, RUSAL's sales volume of aluminum was roughly 1.04 million tons, a quarter-to-quarter hike of 7.9%. The increase was mainly due to the standardized inventory of delivery at that time, leading to a relatively low base in the first quarter of this year.

Meanwhile, the sales of value-added products hiked by 15.9% quarter-to-quarter, reaching 542,000 tons.
