The company reported operating at a loss due to multiple factors, including insufficient electricity supply, high costs of imported electricity, elevated logistics expenses, and unfavorable market conditions for metal products.
During mid-2024, the company's metallurgical production capacity reached approximately 50%. Meanwhile, the mining division operated at 70-75% of its pre-war production levels.
These operational constraints prevented ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih from achieving profitability during this period.
