The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan said that the assets of ArcelorMittal Temirtau, the largest metallurgical plant in the country, may be sold to Russian investors, and Severstal is likely to buy the assets of the enterprise.

The decision was made due to the high mortality at work and a weak investment policy. The Kazakh authorities are currently having talks with the company’s shareholders on their exit.
