ArcelorMittal said it gradually resumed operations at its Acería Compacta de Bizkaia (ACB) plant in Sestao, Spain, from May 1.

ACB produces hot-rolled coil and corrosion-resistant steel by using electric arc furnaces. This plant had been suspended for maintenance last August. However, due to the sluggish demand in the domestic market, ArcelorMittal didn’t restart this plant as scheduled but temporarily resumed production in February this year to complete an order.
