Argentina initiates AD investigation on China’s steel doors

On June 3, 2021, the Ministry of Productive Development of Argentina decided to initiate an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on steel doors originating in China, following a request filed by Argentina’s companies Oblak Hnos. S.A.C.I.F.I., Paissan Hnos. S.A., and NEXO S.A.

The product involved is steel doors with a weight no less than (inclusive) 24 kg but no more than (inclusive) 100 kg, under the MERCOSUR Common Nomenclature (NCM) 7308.30.00.

The measure comes into force from the date of the announcement.

The period of the investigation was from June 2020 to May 2021, and the injury investigation period was from January 2018 to May 2021.
