On November 5, 2024, the Ministry of Economy of Argentina announced the launch of the first anti-dumping (AD) sunset review on aluminum radiators, for domestic use, for central heating, non-electric heating, originating in China and Italy, following the application submitted by the domestic companies ACQUATERM SRL and PEI SA.

Besides, an investigation for possible circumvention of the AD measure imposed on China was also initiated. The probe is to determine whether the subject products from China were slightly modified and exported to Argentina as bimetallic radiators to evade the AD duties.

The products involved are classified under tariff codes of MERCOSUR Common Nomenclature (NCM) 7615.10.00.

During the investigations, AD duties will not apply to the subject products.
