According to statistics released by Argentinian steel association (Acero Argentino), Argentina’s crude steel production totaled around 336,000 tons in August, growing by 3.4% compared to the previous month while dropping by 22.8% from the same month a year ago.

Acero Argentino said that the domestic steel mills continued their production under the COVID-19 epidemic control. The demand from construction, agricultural machinery, and home appliances industries is also rebounding now.
