Arnest Packaging Solutions, a leading manufacturer of aluminum beverage packaging in Russia, has reached an investment agreement with the Uzbek government to set up an aluminum can manufacturing plant in the Navoi Industrial Development Complex.

The planned project will cost a total of around US$100 million, with expected operations by autumn 2025.

The aluminum can manufacturing plant will have an annual production capacity of more than 1.5 billion cans, and about 30% of its output will be exported, thereby consolidating Arnest Packaging Solutions’ strategic position in the international markets. Besides, the plant will also create over 200 new jobs.

CEO Alexander said that localized production in Uzbekistan will greatly enhance the company's presence in the export markets of EAEU countries, Central Asia, and the Caucasus, and make it possible to unlock Russian-made export volumes and redirect them to meet the needs of the Russian market.
