Asian Steel Group Aluminium aims to invest $38.1 million in Bulgaria’s upcoming facility

Asian Steel Group Aluminium Products, a Chinese car parts manufacturer, is investing over 35 million euros ($38.1 million) in a new facility near Bulgaria's second-largest city, Plovdiv, as per the city authorities.

The new plant, to be situated in the Trakia Economic Zone, will specialize in producing aluminium profiles for the automotive industry, as detailed by the business development unit of the Plovdiv municipality in a statement released on Monday.

Construction of the plant is expected to be completed within a year. The facility is anticipated to generate between 150 and 200 job opportunities.

Asian Steel Group Aluminium Products supplies prominent automotive companies such as Tesla, Volvo, and Fiat. The company operates subsidiaries in Mexico and Bulgaria to efficiently serve its international clientele.
