Austrian crude steel output in Feb increases

The data from the World Steel Association (worldsteel) showed that in February, Austrian crude steel production was about 580,000 tons, decreasing by 8.6% from the previous month and slightly growing by 1.3% compared to the same month a year ago. In the first two months of this year, the country’s crude steel output was about 1.2 million tons, increasing by 6.5% year on year.

Voestalpine Steel has two plants in Austria, including Voestalpine Stahl Donawitz, with an annual capacity of 1.57 million tons, and Voestalpine Stahl Linz, with an annual capacity of 6 million tons.
