Ball Corporation, a provider of metal packaging in the US, and Georgia-based aluminum supplier Novelis announced that the Ball Aluminum Cup™ has 90% recycled content, which will significantly decrease its carbon footprint as using recycled aluminum could save 95% of energy compared to using primary aluminum.

The infinite recyclability of the cup could cut carbon footprint, and this product is positioned as a sustainable way to solve waste problems in the packaging industry, including sport and entertainment, food service, retail and beverage sectors.
