Ball Corp. builds third aluminum packaging plant in UK

Ball Corporation, a provider of metal packaging in the US, has started the construction of its newly invested aluminum can packaging plant at the SEGRO Park Kettering Gateway, to meet the increased demand for aluminum cans that replace single-use plastic.
The new site was scheduled to be completed in January 2023, and the recruitment will start in April. The area of this plant is 56,000 square meters, with additional space for future expansion. This plant was expected to produce more than 1 billion recyclable aluminum cans in its first year.
The Kettering plant is Ball's third aluminum can-making plant in the UK, with the other facilities in Milton Keynes and Wakefield.
