Baotou Aluminium achieves milestone: Secures 2023 Energy Management System Certification

Baotou Aluminum recently achieved the 2023 Energy Management System Certification, with Fangyuan Logo Certification Group set to conduct the external audit. A comprehensive evaluation of Baotou Aluminium's overall energy consumption was also undertaken.
Leading the charge in the audit were Ma Jianning, the Deputy General Manager, Wang Baoxin, Deputy Chief Engineer, along with heads and energy administrators from five key areas, namely electrolysis plants, high-purity aluminium plants, alloy business units, power plants, thermal power plants, and related departments.
Since initiating the energy management system certification efforts, the China-based electrolytic aluminium enterprise has significantly emphasised meticulous planning and deployment. The company has conducted a comprehensive energy efficiency analysis across all its operations, implementing various measures to uncover and exploit energy-saving potential. This concerted effort has continuously enhanced the enterprise's capabilities in conserving and reducing energy consumption.
