BlueScope Steel Upgrades Second-Half Earnings Estimate

BlueScope Steel Ltd. said that second-half earnings will be higher than previously anticipated, reflecting increased steel prices, especially in the U.S.

The Australia-based steelmaker on Monday said it expects underlying earnings before interest and tax, or Ebit, of between 700 million Australian dollars (US$468 million)...
