Brazil has decided to extend its final anti-dumping (AD) measures on magnesium imports from China for another five years, starting on September 29. The AD duty rate was kept at US$1.18/kilogram.

The investigation was initially launched based on the request filed by the local manufacturer Rima Industrial S.A. The original AD duty was implemented on October 11, 2004.

The products involved are under HS codes 8104.1100 and 8104.1900.
