According to a final determination issued on January 28, 2022, Brazil decided to terminate the anti-dumping (AD) investigation without imposing AD measures on China’s aluminum flat-rolled products since there was not sufficient evidence to prove the causal relationship between the investigated imports at dumping prices and the injury suffered by the domestic industry.

This AD investigation was launched on July 29, 2020. The products involved in this case are classified under MERCOSUR Common Nomenclature (NCM) 7606.11.90, 7606.12.90, 7606.91.00, 7606.92.00, 7607.11.90, and 7607.19.90.

The period of investigation was from January 2019 to December 2019, and the injury investigation period was from January 2015 to December 2019.

This announcement entered into force on the date of its publication in the Federal Official Gazette.
