Brazil imposes definitive AD duties on China’s tin- or chromium-plated steel products

On August 29, 2025, Brazil’s Foreign Trade Executive Management Committee (Gecex) announced Resolution No. 765, deciding to impose a five-year definitive anti-dumping (AD) duty on Chinese-origin alloy or non-alloy tin- or chromium-plated steel sheets and coils.

The AD duty rate ranges from US$284.34 to US$499.35/ton, applied to tin- or chromium-plated steel with a thickness of less than 0.5 mm and any width, under tariff codes 7210.12.00, 7210.50.00, 7212.10.00, and 7212.50.90 of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM).
