Brazil makes preliminary AD ruling on China’s aluminum sheets

On February 24, 2021, Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) made an affirmative preliminary anti-dumping (AD) ruling on aluminum sheet products originating in China, determining a dumping margin of 59.17% while deciding not to impose temporary AD duties on the subject goods from China.

The products involved are under Mercosur tax numbers 7606.11.90, 7606.12.90, 7606.91.00, 7606.92.00, 7607.11.90, and 7607.19.90.

Brazil’s SECEX launched an AD investigation on aluminum sheets from China on July 29, 2020.
