Brazil significantly raises wire rod exports in Oct

According to statistics, Brazil’s wire rod exports totaled around 16,000 tons in October, soaring by 60% compared to the preceding month.

Among them, the exports were mainly to the US, with around 12,000 tons, followed by 3,300 tons to the Dominican Republic. The supply from ArcelorMittal accounted for the largest share, totaling nearly 13,000 tons.

During the same period, Brazil’s wire rod imports reached approximately 15,000 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 27.5%. Among them, China was the biggest import source with roughly 7,000 tons, and Russia ranked second with nearly 7,000 tons.
