In August, the shipment from the Port of Belem was roughly 459,100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 48.27%.

According to statistics, Brazil’s alumina exports totaled around 607,200 tons in August this year, hiking by 7.25% compared to the same month a year ago. The growth was because Alunorte refinery’s output increase was higher than the declined output of Alumar refinery.
