Brazil's automobile production rises in Jun

According to the Brazilian Association of Automotive Vehicle Manufacturers (ANFAVEA), Brazil produced 1.137 million units in the first half of this year, up by 0.5% year on year. In June, automobile production was 211,000 units, climbing by 26.6% month on month and 11.6% year on year.

In the first half of this year, Brazil's domestic automobile sales reached 1.144 million units, increasing by 14.6% year on year. Exports were about 165,000 units, down by 28.3% year on year. In June, domestic automobile sales were about 214,000 units, increasing by 10.3% month on month and up by about 13% year on year. Exports in June were 29,000 units, up by 8.2% month-on-month and growing by about 13% year on year.
