Brazil’s pig iron exports see m-o-m drop in Nov

According to Brazilian customs statistics, Brazil’s pig iron exports amounted to around 203,000 tons in November, experiencing a decrease of 55% compared to the previous month.

During the period, the exports were mostly to the US, totaling around 192,400 tons. The Netherlands ranked second with 7,400 tons, followed by the Asian countries with 3,000 tons.

The deliveries in November were mainly shipped by suppliers in the states of Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, and Pará. Among them, deliveries from the states of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo occupied the largest proportion, with a total supply of approximately 150,000 tons.
