Brazil’s thick plate exports drop in Feb

In February, Brazil’s thick plate exports amounted to about 5,000 tons, dropping by about 35% compared to the volume in January. Among them, the main export destinations were the US (about 2,300 tons), South America (about 2,600 tons) and Angola (about 100 tons).

On the contrary, Brazil’s thick plate imports totaled about 5,400 tons, hiking by more than double month on month. In Specific, the main import sources included Europe (about 3,800 tons) and Asia (about 1,600 tons).
