According to the market on September 27th, the crude oil prices reached a 3-year new peak in the West Texas Intermediate and Brent Crude, mainly stimulated by the strong market demand and short supply concern in the US.

By some of the market participants’ views, the declining inventory level in the US in recent weeks might push the crude oil price to further increase in the following months.

Among them, the crude oil futures price for November in Brent Crude was US$79.53/barrel, and the crude oil futures price for November in the West Texas Intermediate for November was US$74.45/barrel, both increased by over 1.5% from the previous trading day.
