CEE’s primary aluminum output accounts for nearly 6% of total global output in 2019

According to statistics, the output of primary aluminum in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) totaled around 3.8 million tons in 2019, accounting for 5.97% of the total global output.

Among them, most outputs of primary aluminum in CEE were from Russia, totaling around 3.6 million tons, mainly in Siberia.

In terms of aluminum mills, RUSAL has 11 major primary aluminum smelters in Russia, and Hydro has one in Slovak, that is Slovalco.
