Century Aluminum has higher net loss in Q3

Century Aluminum, a US-based primary aluminum producer, reported that its net sales totaled US$581.4 million in the third quarter of this year, hiking by 10% compared to the previous quarter. The increase was mainly due to rising aluminum prices and regional premiums.
During the period, the firm had a net loss of US$52.4 million, compared to a net loss of US$35.1 million.
