China Hongqiao Group’s sales of aluminum alloy products remain flat in 2020

China Hongqiao Group Limited, an aluminum producer in China, reported that its sales volume of aluminum alloy products was around 5.06 million tons in 2020, keeping flat compared to the previous year. The average sales price of aluminum alloy products was up by 2.2% year on year, reaching approximately RMB 12,501/ton (excluding value-added tax).
During the reporting period, the group’s sales volume of processed aluminum alloy products amounted to roughly 600,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.6%; that of alumina was around 6.73 million tons, rising by 27.6% year on year.
