China is benefiting from the Russia-Ukraine war by increasing its aluminum exports to Europe.

According to statistics, China decreased its imports but raised the export volume of aluminum to Europe in the first quarter of this year, becoming a net exporter in the first two months.

In April alone, China’s aluminum production increased a lot after the restriction on power production eased and smelters were approved for allowed operation expansion.
