China to release third batch of national reserves of copper, aluminum, zinc

According to an announcement from China’s National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration issued on August 27, the country decided to release the third batch of national reserves of copper, aluminum, and zinc in the near future, with a volume of 30,000 tons, 70,000 tons, and 50,000 tons, respectively.

The date of the open auction bidding is September 1. The bidding time period is 9:00-12:00 and 13:00-18:00.

China has continued to release national reserves of copper, aluminum, and zinc, aiming to well secure and stabilize the supply and prices of bulk commodities.
