China’s A00 aluminium ingot price drops M-o-M by RMB360/t; Low carbon aluminium price gains RMB52/t

On Wednesday, November 8, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has gained RMB 60 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,230 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 19,210 per tonne and RMB 19,250 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a discount price of RMB 90 to RMB 50 per tonne. However, on M-o-M calculation, a plunge of RMB 360 per tonne was witnessed from RMB 19,590 per tonne recorded on October 8.
As of today, the Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) data have shown growth in all the provinces. To begin with, the A00 aluminium ingot prices in Gongyi, Foshan and Wuxi have ascended by RMB 60 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,100 per tonne, RMB 19,260 per tonne and RMB 19,230 per tonne. In Hangzhou, the domestic aluminium ingot price has added RMB 50 per tonne to reach RMB 19,220 per tonne. In Shenyang and Tianjin, the A00 aluminium ingot prices have hiked by RMB 40 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,180 per tonne. In Chongqing and Linyi, the prices have increased by RMB 30 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to arrive at RMB 19,200 per tonne and RMB 19,180 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has surged by RMB 52 per tonne to halt at RMB 10,034 per tonne. As per SMM, the price of aluminium alloy (A356) has grown by RMB 50 per tonne to reach RMB 19,900 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 19,700 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne. Aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloys (A380) have shown no change to close at RMB 19,600 per tonne and RMB 20,600 per tonne.
