China’s alumina, aluminum alloy, aluminum output grows in Oct

According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, the country’s alumina production totaled around 7.05 million tons in October, growing by 1.3% compared to the same month a year ago.

During the period, China's aluminum alloy production was 1.26 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.2%. Aluminum production totaled 5.5 million tons, a year-on-year hike of 8.3%.

In the first ten months of this year, China’s alumina output amounted to approximately 68.7 million tons, up by 0.9% year on year. Aluminum alloy production increased by 16% year on year to 11.84 million tons, and aluminum output hiked by 5.7% year on year to 52.05 million tons.
