China’s alumina spot price has soared by RMB 10 per tonne to officially close at RMB 3,731 per tonne. The alumina price in Guangxi has grown by RMB 20 per tonne to arrive at RMB 3,770 per tonne, while the alumina price in Lianyungang has secured RMB 15 per tonne to close at RMB 3,775 per tonne.
The alumina prices in Shandong, Henan, Shanxi, Guizhou and Bayuquan have all witnessed RMB 10 per tonne slump.

Shanxi – RMB 3,765 per tonne
Guizhou – RMB 3,735 per tonne
Bayuquan – RMB 3,780 per tonne
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the SMM A00 aluminium price has dampened by RMB 100 per tonne to rest at RMB 20,760 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 20,740 per tonne and RMB 20,780 per tonne.
The eight main provinces in China have all shown declining aluminium prices, with the highest slump of RMB 130 per tonne recorded in Gongyi, where the aluminium price stood at RMB 20,580 per tonne. In Linyi, the aluminium price has discarded RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 20,760 per tonne. The aluminium prices in Foshan, Hangzhou, Chongqing and Shenyang have all lost RMB 90 per tonne.

In Wuxi, the aluminium price has dropped by RMB 80 per tonne to officially close at RMB 20,760 per tonne, while the aluminium price in Tianjin has halted at RMB 20,730 per tonne with a loss of RMB 60 per tonne.
China’s low carbon aluminium price negated RMB 89 per tonne to close at RMB 21,715 per tonne.
