China's aluminum imports increases in Jun

China's imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products totaled around 294,100 tons in June, hiking by 30.4% compared to the previous month and also increasing by 1.8% from the same month a year ago.

In the first half of this year, China totally imported 1.46 million tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, up by 79.2% year on year.

In terms of bauxite, China imported around 10.1 million tons of bauxite in June, increasing by 11.3% month on month while dropping by 3% year on year. China’s bauxite imports in the January-June period amounted to 55.14 million tons, sliding by 5.5% year on year.
