According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, the country's primary aluminum production reached about 41.2 million tons in the first eleven months of this year, increasing by 2.5% compared to the same period a year ago.

In November, the output totaled 3.79 million tons, slightly falling by 0.2% month on month and climbing by 2.5% year on year.

Strong consumption from the automotive and power storage sectors sustained this growth. This firm demand, paired with steady supply, pushed prices upward throughout November.

Besides, Chinese smelters achieved their highest profit margins in over three years, benefiting from the favorable market balance.
