China’s aluminum-related products output statistics in Oct & Jan-Oct

According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, China’s alumina production totaled 7.11 million tons in October this year, growing by 12.8% compared to the same month a year ago.
Meanwhile, China’s primary aluminum output was 3.45 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.5%. The output of aluminum products hiked by 6.2% to 5.25 million tons, and that of aluminum alloy rose by 25.5% to 1.09 million tons, both year on year.
In the first ten months of this year, China’s alumina production amounted to approximately 68.58 million tons, up by 5.1% year on year. Primary aluminum production increased by 3.3% to 33.33 million tons, aluminum products output dropped by 0.3% to 50.87 million tons, and aluminum alloy output grew by 16.5%, all on a year-on-year basis.
