On November 20, the Shanghai Metals Market witnessed downward strives in aluminium price trends, with the SMM A00 aluminium ingot price discarding by RMB 120 per tonne to close at RMB 18,880 per tonne. The average aluminium prices have circulated between RMB 18,860 per tonne and RMB 18,900 per tonne.
China’s central provinces have all experienced slump in aluminium prices, with Linyi negating RMB 170 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,950 per tonne, followed by RMB 160 per tonne dive in Foshan where the aluminium price stood at RMB 18,990 per tonne. In Gongyi, the aluminium price has shed RMB 130 per tonne, closing at RMB 18,820 per tonne. In Wuxi, Hangzhou and Chongqing, the aluminium prices halted at RMB 18,880 per tonne, with RMB 120 per tonne loss in the first two and RMB 100 per tonne in the last. Tianjin, too, marked a RMB 120 per tonne crunch, settling down at RMB 18,910 per tonne. The aluminium price in Shenyang has faced a RMB 70 per tonne slump, closing at RMB 18,900 per tonne.
