China’s CNPT signs contract with Vedanta for engineering of aluminum round ingot casting line

This is CNPT’s cooperation with Vedanta after successfully signing an engineering design contract with Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd. (BALCO) for a 580,000-ton casting workshop at the beginning of this year.

China Nonferrous Metals Processing Technology Co., Ltd. (CNPT), a leading China-based engineering company focusing on nonferrous metals processing, signed a contract with India’s Vedanta for the engineering design and technical service of aluminum round ingot casting lines at Vedanta’s casting workshop in Jharsuguda, Odisha.

Vedanta has businesses worldwide, covering lead, zinc, oil, natural gas, iron ore, copper, aluminum, commercial power generation, and so forth. It is a large-scale primary aluminum producer in India.
