China's crude steel output grows in Oct

According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, in October, China's crude steel output totaled around 79.8 million tons, growing by 11% from the same month a year ago; the output of pig iron was 70.8 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 11.9%.

In the first ten months of this year, China's crude steel and pig iron production amounted to approximately 860.6 million tons and 726.9 million tons, down by 2.2% and 1.2% year on year, respectively.
