China’s iron ore price down on Aug 19

The domestic iron ore price index was 541.01 points, falling by 0.10% or 0.52 points compared to the previous price index; the import iron ore price index was 496.88 points, decreasing by 13% or 74.25 points from the previous one.

According to the data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was 503.89 points on August 19, which was down by 11.04% or 62.53 points compared with the previous CIOPI on August 18.
