China’s iron ore price index drops on Aug 9

According to the data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was 393.20 points on August 9, which was down by 1.75% or 6.99 points compared with the previous CIOPI on August 8.

The domestic iron ore price index was 371.47 points, rising by 1.32% or 4.85 points compared to the previous day; the import iron ore price index was 397.31 points, decreasing by 2.27% or 9.23 points from the preceding one.
