China’s iron ore price index rises on Aug 5

According to the data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was 397.39 points on August 5, which was up by 4.14% or 15.79 points compared with the previous CIOPI on August 4.

The domestic iron ore price index was 367.59 points, falling by 0.20% or 0.75 points compared to the previous day; the import iron ore price index was 403.02 points, increasing by 4.93% or 18.92 points from the preceding one.
